COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Dingbat Theatre Project is committed to the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, patrons, family, and community. Dingbat Theatre Project will be following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in order to keep everyone safe. These recommendations and protocols are ever changing, so check back here for updates.
FOR AUDIENCE MEMBERS
In accordance with the #SafeArtsSarasota Initiative, all audience members attending a Dingbat Theatre Project production must show:
*A negative PCR COVID-19 test administered by a medical provider/official testing center no earlier than 72 hours before the time of the performance they are attending
OR
*A negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test administered by a medical provider/official testing center no earlier than 24 hours prior to the time of their performance.
If preferred, audience members may voluntarily show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 at the door as an acceptable alternative to negative COVID-19 test results.

CREW AND FRONT-OF-HOUSE STAFF
Crew and Front-of-House Staff will be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. On July 27, 2021, the CDC recommend that everyone in areas with high COVID-19 infection rates (i.e. Florida) wear masks in public indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status.

ACTORS AND PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBERS
IN PERFORMANCE - All actors will be unmasked for performances. Actors are required to prove they have been vaccinated or are required to be tested for COVID-19 every week of performance run, and produce a negative test result. For example, August 27-September 11, 2021 for Hedwig and the Angry Inch and December 2-19, 2021 for The SpongeBob Musical.
