Columbine, Rosetta, Punchinello, and Arlecchino all let down their hair to tackle the tangled tale of Rapunzel. When Gottel the Witch (played by Rosetta, naturally) discovers the thief in her garden, she tricks him into exchanging his first born daughter for the salad he took. This adaptation features a modern day troupe of commedia players, pulling from commedia dell’arte traditions and told in a hilarious, slapstick, and entertaining way.
